Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) utilize expensive drugs to control and stimulate egg production, expensive equipment and service fees of scientists who undertake the specialized tasks of fertilization and embryo culture.  The Low Cost IVF Foundation is promoting the provision of clinical In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) services for a minimal cost that will enable couples, particularly infertile women, to access treatment by IVF for their infertility.  The Foundation aims to demonstrate that the material costs for a cycle of IVF can be less than 200 €.
